Which power output should I choose for the pool heat pump?

Even though this heat pump can heat a pool of up to 85 m2, it is impossible to know if it will be sufficient for your specific needs.

The power requirement depends, among other things, on whether you cover the pool at night, where you live in the country, what temperature you want in the pool, and in what cold weather conditions you want to achieve the desired water temperature.

If, for example, you want to be able to heat your pool in the spring and autumn, when the nights are cold, this model might be sufficient for a water volume of 70-80 m2.

There is no formula to calculate your exact power requirement in all situations.

Note that a heat pump with a higher output does not consume more energy than a smaller pool heat pump model to heat the same amount of water to the same temperature.

If you choose a more powerful model, the electricity consumption will not be higher - but the same - under the same conditions.
