Returns and complaints

At VillaHome, we want you to feel secure with your purchase. Here you will find information on how to make a return, what applies to complaints, and how we handle shipping damages.

Right of withdrawal and returns

As a private individual, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you received your item. This means you have the right to cancel your purchase without stating any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you need to notify us before returning the item. Once you have notified us, the item must be returned without undue delay, and no later than within 14 days.

The item must be returned in essentially unchanged condition and in original packaging if possible. If the item has been used to a greater extent than necessary to assess its condition, we may make a deduction for depreciation.

In case of a cancelled purchase, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost unless otherwise stated.

How to make a return

  2. Provide order number, name, product, and reason for the return
  3. Await instructions from us before returning the item
  4. Pack the item well — you are responsible for it arriving in good condition
  5. Send the item according to the instructions you received from us

Refund

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will process your refund. The refund will be made to the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Any return shipping or return fee may be deducted from the refund in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Complaint

Have you received an incorrect, damaged, or defective item? Contact us as soon as possible after discovering the fault.

Please provide the following when you contact us:

  • Order number
  • Description of the fault or damage
  • Pictures of the item and any damage

We will help you further with a remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law. As a private individual, you always have the right to at least a 3-year right of complaint for goods.

Shipping damage

If your item was damaged during shipping, please contact us as soon as possible.
