European Aspen

Aspen is a deciduous tree in the willow family (order Malpighiales). It grows all over Europe and in large parts of Asia as well as in northern Africa. Aspen is an ideal material for the sauna as it does not secrete resin, splinter, or become too hot. Its characteristically light tone and smooth texture give it an attractive appearance and make it perfect for painting. We offer a number of interior sauna elements in both natural and thermally modified aspen.

• Only pour water on the heater, not on the walls or benches
• Do not use wet swimwear in the sauna, as water from them can damage the bench
• To keep the bench fresh, we recommend using seat pads - these can also make it more comfortable to sit on the bench when it's hot
• Keep an eye on the heating stones, as they can crack over time - if needed, they can be replaced or more stones can be added
