Topdressing makes the lawn dense and dark green.
It evens out and provides a durable, healthy lawn. Topdressing adds significant nutrients and improves the surface layer of the lawn, stimulating grass root and shoot formation. Extra iron provides greener grass and counteracts moss. Humus binds nutrients so they are not leached out by rain and irrigation, while also loosening and evening out compact soil. In a well-topdressed lawn, moss and weeds do not take over, and the grass becomes durable. The best time to topdress the lawn is in the spring, when the grass starts growing. Otherwise, do it immediately after you have recently cut the lawn relatively short, but well before autumn, by August at the latest.
