These pool heat pumps are powered by a very quiet brushless fan and have a noise level of approximately 39-52dB at 1 meter distance, depending on how hard the compressor is working.

If you stand 10 meters away, the noise level is mostly lower than normal outdoor background noise on a quiet summer day - meaning you usually don't hear the heat pump at all.

Which pool heat pump capacity should I choose?

Even though this heat pump can heat a pool of up to 60m3, it is impossible to know if it is sufficient for your specific needs.

The power requirement depends, among other things, on whether you cover the pool at night, where you live in the country, what temperature you want in the pool, and at what cold weather you want to achieve the desired water temperature.

For example, if you want to be able to heat your pool in the spring and autumn, when the nights are cold, these models might be sufficient for a water volume of 50m3.

Therefore, there is no formula to calculate your specific power requirement in all situations.

Note that a heat pump with higher output does not consume more energy than a smaller model pool heat pump to heat the same amount of water to the same temperature.

If you choose a more powerful model, the electricity consumption will not be higher - but the same - under the same conditions.
