How long you can spend in cold water without suffering from hypothermia is determined, among other things, by the water temperature, your body size and shape, your level of cold adaptation, and your experience. Check with your doctor if necessary. Start with safe, short dips of 30 seconds to learn what your limits are. If you start to feel uncomfortable or start to shiver, listen to your body, get out and warm up slowly by walking around. If you wish, you can check the water temperature before entering the bath, to ensure that it has a temperature suitable for your cold exposure experience. The water temperature is displayed by default on the control panel.
