Pulse massage
Our new pulse massage system is standard in our PULSE spa but can be ordered for all our models. This is an electromagnetic system with 5 different massage programs and 9 different intensities. 6 massage jets are mounted in the back of one of the seats and then adjusted with a separate panel on the edge.
Control system
Our new control system is standard on our Moon series. This system is easy to operate and has a large, clear display (10 x 5 cm) that is easily visible even in strong sunlight. Many setting options, such as a timer for filter cycles, etc.

Lucite
What acrylic is used in a spa is one of the most important things to ask yourself when buying a spa. We use Lucite in all our spas and swim spas.
Lucite is a unique American antibacterial plastic material also known as plastic glass. This material has a high density, which means that bacteria do not gain a foothold and ensures that your spa will look fresh for many years. This material is mostly used only by the most exclusive manufacturers.

- We also have one of the market's thickest plastic layers, up to 8mm. Normal is 5-6mm. This makes our spas stable and never flexes.
Electrical control box
Our larger spa models come with a built-in electrical box that simplifies, makes it safer, and easier to service and install our spas. Separates the electrical part from the rest of the spa.
Jets/valves
We primarily use jets and valves from the American manufacturer CMP, who have extensive experience in quality jets for massage tubs around the world. CMP is known for powerful massage, as well as generously sized glue nipples, which ensure leak-free installation. We also use stainless steel jets, which means that the ball bearings are made of stainless steel.
- We use both rotating Hydromassage jets, adjustable Power jets, and point massage jets for an acupuncture-like sensation.
Hoses
The hose we use is an antibacterial silicone hose also used in the food industry. All to keep the water clear and clean longer.
Pumps
We use pumps from one of the world's largest pump manufacturers. A separate circulation pump (not applicable to JANUS) to ensure constant filtration is standard in our spas.
Our jet pumps are always at least 2-3 hp and always 2-3 in number (not applicable to JANUS), which means the massage is powerful and constant. The massage can then be adjusted via both our air valves and our adjustment valves. A circulation pump typically lasts 1-3 years and a jet pump typically lasts 2-5 years.
Insulation
SA Spa uses multi-layer insulation in all our Galaxie and Star models, which means we can utilize the heat from the pumps to maintain good economics in your spa. We have about 40-60 mm of PU foam directly on the tub (most other spas on the market only have 5-15mm) to keep the water warm, and we also have 35 mm of Miramat insulation in the outer walls to retain heat even outside the tub itself. This, together with our fiberglass bottom and a well-sized 10 cm insulated cover, has shown in long-term tests in both England and Sweden that electricity consumption averages around 200-250 kW per month over the year. This means, with today's kW price, under SEK 300 per month spread over a year.
For swim spas, with normal use, the cost averages about SEK 750-800 per month.
We also have a load-bearing stainless steel frame for stability and a fastening frame for outer panels and flooring in anti-mold treated pressure-treated wood (black or green). This wooden frame is fixed to the steel frame.
The spa is also equipped with the boost function in our heater, which allows you to bathe for several hours without the heat dropping significantly. In tests of the bath at 0° with the lid off, we have measured only a maximum temperature drop of 1° after 1 hour of bathing.

Microsilk
The Microsilk system (hydrotherapy) from BALBOA counteracts wrinkles and other signs of aging and softens stiff joints and muscles. Microsilk also shows clear symptom relief for eczema and psoriasis. The microbubbles increase the oxygen level in the water by up to 70% - more than 13mg/L. The increased oxygen level benefits the skin as the micro-small bubbles literally penetrate the skin's pores. At the same time, the amount of anions (negatively charged ions) in the water increases. If the anions exceed a concentration of 50.00 ions/cubic centimeter, it has, according to researchers, a therapeutic effect on the skin. MicroSilk® causes the number of anions to exceed 80,000 ions/cubic centimeter.
