A simple system for healthy and functional floors

It was in 1993 that Mats and his father Lennart came up with a simple and effective way to install floor joists, whether for renovation or new construction. In one fell swoop, almost all problems with bad odours, moisture, and mould were solved.

They have since further developed and refined the patented and type-approved joist system with the ingenious Nivell screw over the years, while new, innovative products have been added – such as sound-absorbing acoustic floors, raised access floors, and convenient solutions for outdoor flooring. No one has more experience with smart, easy-to-install functional floors than us, and you can trust that development will continue.

    The original from Sweden

Nivell floors are still manufactured in their factory in Mariestad, from carefully selected Swedish timber. To date, over 7 million square meters have gained new, satisfied owners who have gotten rid of their problems – and the number is growing. Many have tried to copy their quality, but no solution beats the original!

Swedish wood - A natural choice

All joists from Nivell System are made from Swedish PEFC-certified wood. Spruce for indoor installation and pressure-impregnated pine for outdoor installation. The joists are planed and finely sawn with rounded corners, quality-stamped and identifiable. All Nivell joists have a standard length of 3.6 m and are pre-drilled and threaded, and are delivered plastic-wrapped in bundles from our factory.

Wood is renewable and good for the environment

Nivell joists are produced to a minimum quality of C-24 according to Swedish Standard SS 230120. If the timber is for export, INSTA142 applies. For straightness requirements, T1-C18 applies according to the same standard. The timber is dried to an average moisture content of 12% according to SS EN 14298.
