Effect:

Granules as a disinfectant for maintenance throughout the bathing season and for both pools and spas. Particularly suitable for single treatment, i.e., shock chlorination of heavily contaminated pools or spas. Kills algae and viruses. When dissolved in pool water, a strong increase in chlorine concentration occurs, which kills most common viruses and algae species.

Instructions for use:

Generally, to achieve clean and hygienic water, the pH value should be between 7.0 – 7.4 and the free chlorine content should be between 0.3 – 0.6 mg/l (for water temperatures above 28°C, it is recommended to use a higher concentration up to 0.8 mg/l). If the chlorine level drops below 0.3 mg/l, chlorine needs to be added. If the free chlorine level is higher than 0.8 mg/l, do not use the spa or pool. After refilling with water, perform preventative water treatment by using our chlorine products such as Azuro Weekly Chlorine TriTab 200g or 20g depending on the size of the pool or spa. If algae growth is present, use the dose for a quick shock chlorination. Check and adjust the pH value to 7.0 – 7.4 before using the product. After 24 hours, check and adjust the pH value again. Important: For correct use, you must use test equipment for measuring the pH value and free chlorine content. Measure both the pH value and the concentration of free chlorine at least twice a week. Ideally, chlorinate in the evening. For indoor pools: Ensure good ventilation of the pool for approximately 24 hours after dosing.

Dosing instructions:

The basic dose is 100 g (100 g corresponds to 100 ml) of strong granules per 10 m3 of water (10,000 l). For shock chlorination, a maximum of 200 g per 10 m3 of water can be used.

Dosing method:

Dissolve the desired dose thoroughly in a plastic bucket with water. ADD THE PRODUCT TO WATER AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! Pour the dissolved product slowly into the spa or pool water or into the skimmer (surface water cleaner). During dosing and for 24 hours afterwards, filter cleaning must be active.

Appearance and composition:

White crystalline completely water-soluble granules. The active substance is sodium dichloroisocyanurate, dihydrate (1000 g/kg) containing 56% free chlorine, index number 613-030-01-7.

Warning:

Harmful if swallowed. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause respiratory irritation. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Develops toxic gas upon contact with acid. Avoid inhaling dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF SWALLOWED: Contact a POISON CENTRE or doctor if you feel unwell. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Store locked up. Dispose of contents/container to hazardous waste collection point!

First aid:

If inhaled: Move the injured person to fresh air and keep them out until symptoms disappear completely.
In case of skin contact: Rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
In case of eye contact: Rinse immediately with open eyelids under running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.
If swallowed: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Give the injured person 1 – 2 glasses of water to drink. Seek immediate medical attention. If necessary, contact a POISON CENTRE.

Storage:

Ensure that you store the product correctly – if the product comes into contact with another substance (product) or moisture, it can lead to a strong chemical reaction and subsequent fire. Store the product in its well-sealed original packaging, separated from food, drinks, and feed in a cool, dry, dark, and well-ventilated place away from heat sources, open flames, flammable and acidic substances, and moisture.

Warning:

Note! Do not use with other products. The product may release dangerous gases (chlorine gas). Do not touch the product with wet hands. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect use.

Warranty period:

At least 3 years from the date of manufacture, provided storage conditions are met.

Disposal:

Do not release the product into the sewage system. Dispose of unused product at a hazardous waste collection point.
