Effect:

The product is used to raise the pH level in hot tub or pool water. Bathing water should have a pH value between 7.0 – 7.4. Within this range, the most effective action of pool & spa chlorine is guaranteed without side effects.

Instructions for use and dosage:

Check the pH value at least twice a week and immediately correct deviations from the ideal value (primarily, control is needed before dosing pool & spa chlorine). A pH value >7.4 can cause discoloration of the water, which can become milky and cloudy, reduce the effect of pool or spa chlorine, cause chlorine odor, or irritation of eyes or skin. A pH value <7.0 can lead to increased corrosion of the hot tub or pool's metal parts, fading of colored material, and irritation of eyes or skin. To raise the pH value by 0.2, add 10g per 1 m3 (1,000 l) of water (for soft water, a higher dose is usually needed). Thoroughly dissolve the calculated dosage in a plastic bucket with water and slowly pour it into the hot tub or pool water with the filtration turned on. Measurement of the pH value (using appropriate test equipment) should be done after thorough mixing in the hot tub or pool water. Repeat the procedure until the pH value is within the desired range. No one may be present in the hot tub or pool until all powder has been thoroughly mixed into your pool or hot tub (with the help of filtration) and the pH value has been adjusted to the desired range!

Finely ground white powder. Contains sodium carbonate (100%), index number: 011-005-00-2.

Warning:

Causes serious eye irritation. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

First aid:

If inhaled: Move the injured person to fresh air and keep them there until symptoms completely disappear.
If skin contact: Rinse immediately with water and wash with soap for at least 15 minutes. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention immediately.
If eye contact: Rinse immediately with open eyelids under running water for at least 15 minutes. Always seek medical attention.
If ingested: Give the injured person 1 – 2 glasses of water to drink. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Seek medical attention immediately.

Storage:

Store in a tightly closed original packaging in a cool and dry place, away from food, drink, and feed. Protect from moisture.

Warning:

Do not mix with other products! The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect use.

Warranty period:

2 years from the date of manufacture and provided storage conditions are met.

Disposal:

Do not pour the product into the sewage system. Leave unused product at a recycling center that handles hazardous waste. Rinse empty packaging thoroughly with water. HAND IN CLEAN PACKAGING TO THE INTENDED WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY!
