Aura-Smart is a special planter with a water collection reservoir at the bottom, which helps plants cope better during dry spells.
The planter has a double bottom and an overflow pipe.
Water collects between the two bottoms, and the reservoir has a capacity of 12 liters.
Excess water drains out of the planter through the overflow pipe.
When filling the planter with soil, a layer of lightweight aggregate (approx. 5 cm) should be placed on top to prevent the soil from blocking the bottom openings and to allow the plant roots to reach the water.
Crafted with a robust, exciting shape and good quality.
Made from Finnish-produced Corten steel.
Corten steel is almost like pure carbon steel, but specially treated so that the surface forms a durable layer against weather conditions.
The surface is reddish-brown (similar to rust in color) initially, but darkens over time.
When used correctly, Corten steel is durable, long-lasting, and maintenance-free, and it withstands the test of time in a unique way.
COR-TEN® products can be left outdoors all year round, and winter covering or storage is not necessary.
