Athens & Dover from House Nordic combines a round ceramic tabletop in white and brown with four Dover chairs upholstered in sand-mottled, brown-toned fabric. The chairs' brown oak legs pick up the darker tones in the table base, while the lighter ceramic surface provides contrast. The tabletop's stone-like pattern is ceramic, not natural stone.
The fixed Athens table has a round top without insert tops, but it is primarily the Dover chairs that set this dining set apart from other Athens combinations. Each chair has a 180° swivel function with automatic return, allowing the seat to be turned away from the table and then return. Leave space around the chairs for both the movement and for pulling them out. Unlike Athens & Cavi, here you get brown-toned fabric and oak legs.

Round table and swivel chairs
The Athens table is fixed and 120 cm in diameter. The four Dover chairs can swivel 180° and have an automatic return function. Leave free space behind the chairs so that they can be pulled out and swiveled without hitting other furniture; no insert panels are included.
Ceramic, oak and polyester upholstery
Wipe up spills from the ceramic tabletop with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry afterwards. Avoid hard impacts against the edges and abrasive cleaning. Vacuum the fabric of the Dover chairs gently with a furniture nozzle and blot stains without soaking the upholstery. Wipe the oak legs with a soft cloth and avoid standing moisture.
Assembly and inspection
Assemble Athens and Dover according to their respective original instructions. Protect the ceramic during the work and check that the legs are securely attached and that the chairs' swivel and return function works freely before use.
