Caracas from House Nordic is a beige lounge chair with a padded, rounded seat and visible natural wood legs. The combination of light polyester upholstery and warm wood gives the chair a more open look than a completely floor-hugging armchair. It can serve as an extra seat by the sofa or have its own place in a reading nook with a side table and lamp.
The back is low, and the armrests surround the seat without forming a high-backed armchair. Caracas measures 88 cm in width and 72 cm in depth. The seat height is 41 cm, so it is advisable to compare the height with an existing armchair and check that there is enough space to sit down and stand up in front of a coffee table.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester, and the frame contains pine, plywood, and foam, among other materials. House Nordic states 30,000 Martindale as the fabric's abrasion value. Caracas is delivered fully assembled and must therefore be able to be carried in one piece. One beige lounge chair is included; a separate footstool, table, and other furnishings are purchased separately as needed.

Is Caracas right for your living room?
With a width of 88 cm, depth of 72 cm and height of 72 cm, Caracas works as a low, freestanding seat. The seat height is 41 cm. Above all, check the distance to the coffee table or other furniture in front of the seat, and feel free to compare the seat height with an armchair you usually use. The low back is worth considering if you are specifically looking for high back or neck support.
Caring for the beige polyester upholstery
The outer fabric consists of 100% polyester. Vacuum regularly and gently with a soft furniture nozzle, especially at the seams and in the transition between the back and seat. Avoid hard brushes and heavy friction. Do not leave the chair for extended periods where strong direct sunlight falls on the same part of the upholstery.
If something spills on the armchair
Blot up liquid immediately with a clean and absorbent cloth. Do not rub the stain and avoid soaking the foam padding. If you need a cleaning agent, it should be suitable for polyester furniture fabric and first tested on a less visible part. Follow the material's marking before any washing and do not assume that the upholstery is removable or machine washable.
Wooden legs and stable placement
Caracas has legs in a natural wood finish and a frame with pine and plywood, among other materials. Wipe visible wooden parts with a soft cloth; do not leave moisture behind and avoid abrasive agents, oil or wax without the manufacturer's instructions for the specific surface treatment. Place the armchair on a flat floor and use suitable furniture feet if the surface needs protection.
Bringing it inside and what is included
Caracas is delivered fully assembled and weighs 18 kg net. Check that the entire chair fits through the hallway, doorways and stairs. The maximum load is 110 kg. The purchase refers to a beige lounge chair; tables, lighting, footstools or other furniture are purchased separately. Lift the chair when moving it instead of dragging it across the floor.
