Metz & Pisa from House Nordic combines a round oak table with four dining chairs in vintage brown PU and black steel legs. The visible grain of the oak gives the table a natural look, while the slim metal legs and brown upholstery of the Pisa chairs make the combination feel airier around the round top.
What sets Metz apart from an ordinary round dining table is the built-in butterfly top. It folds out when the table needs to be extended from 118 to 158 cm and is stored inside the table when not needed. This means you don't have to find storage space for loose extension leaves. The four Pisa chairs are also stackable, something to consider if you want to free up floor space between uses.
The dining set includes a Metz table and four Pisa chairs with PU upholstery. The table has oak and steel parts and is assembled after delivery; the chairs are delivered fully assembled. Additional chairs and decorations are not included. Full component item numbers and dimensions can be found under Specifications.

The butterfly top is stored in the table
Metz has a built-in extension top, not separate extension tops. Check that there is enough space around the table when extended and follow the manufacturer's instructions when unfolding the top. The four Pisa chairs are stackable and can be stored separately if needed.
Care for oak and PU upholstery
Wipe up spills from the oak table immediately with a soft, well-wrung cloth. Use coasters for hot, damp or scratching objects and do not oil the table until the correct surface treatment for Metz has been confirmed. The PU seats of the Pisa chairs are wiped with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dried again. Do not use leather balm or other leather care products on PU, and avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners.
Assembly and safety
Assemble the Metz table according to House Nordics' instructions and check that the built-in butterfly top works and sits securely. The Pisa chairs come assembled. Check that all parts are stable before use.
