Milo from House Nordic is an off-white lounge set featuring a rounded, padded lounge chair and a freestanding ottoman. A detail that is easy to miss is that the manufacturer describes the contents as a Milo lounge chair together with a Hilo ottoman. This means you get two coordinated seating pieces in one set, but the ottoman has its own model name.
A seating arrangement that can be changed. Place the ottoman in front of the armchair when you want to rest your feet and move it aside when you need more open floor space. The light off-white upholstery and rounded shape create a soft silhouette that can complement a straight sofa or fit into its own reading nook. Since the pieces are not built together, they can also be placed at different distances from each other.
Measure both pieces. The Milo armchair measures 67 cm in width, 74 cm in depth, and 70 cm in height. The Hilo ottoman is 55 cm wide, 40 cm deep, and 39 cm high. House Nordic states a seat height of 39 cm for both pieces. Compare it with a seating piece you already enjoy and also plan how much space is needed when the ottoman is in front of the chair – the stated seat heights do not replace the need for free passage.
Materials and everyday use. According to House Nordic, the set contains metal, polyester, plywood, and foam. The upholstery is a textile that should be vacuumed carefully and spot-treated with consideration for the material, not a hard surface that can be wiped down with any cleaning agent. The total net weight is stated as 19.5 kg and the maximum load capacity as 110 kg.
What is included? Item 1101241-S includes an off-white Milo lounge chair and a matching Hilo ottoman. Both pieces are stated by the manufacturer to be delivered assembled. Side tables, rugs, and other interior details are not included. Check the dimensions and care requirements of both pieces before purchase to ensure that the set fits both the size of the room and how you want to use the seating area.

Choose based on seating position and floor space
The Milo set consists of a lounge chair and a separate Hilo ottoman. The armchair measures W 67 × D 74 × H 70 cm and the ottoman W 55 × D 40 × H 39 cm. The seat height is stated as 39 cm for both parts. Please mark the furniture's places on the floor and check that you can move past when the ottoman is in front of the chair. Compare the low seat height with your current armchair.
Care of off-white furniture fabric
The light polyester upholstery should be vacuumed regularly with a soft furniture nozzle. Work gently along the back, seat and seams without pressing hard against the padding. Since the upholstery is off-white, stains may be more visible than on dark fabric. Avoid hard brushes, prolonged strong direct sunlight and letting moisture remain against the fabric.
Spills and stain treatment
Blot up liquid immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth instead of rubbing. Do not soak the foam padding and only use cleaning agents intended for the corresponding furniture fabric. Test the agent on a less visible part first and let the surface dry thoroughly before use. Machine washing or removable covers should not be assumed without verified supplier instructions.
Base and daily use
The set's construction includes metal, plywood and foam. Dust visible base parts with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaning agents. Place both pieces of furniture on a level surface and use furniture feet adapted to the floor surface if necessary. Lift the parts when rearranging instead of dragging them.
Assembly and what is included
House Nordic states that the set is delivered assembled. Therefore, check the transport route through doors, stairs and elevators before ordering. You receive a Milo lounge chair and a Hilo ottoman in off-white; no additional ottoman is needed for the shown combination. Separate tables, lamps and other decorations are not included.
Original documents for the Milo armchair
The set contains a Milo armchair (1101193) and a Hilo ottoman. View House Nordic's original instructions for Milo 1101193 (PDF). The document refers to the armchair part, not the Hilo ottoman or the entire set.
