Westport by House Nordic is a black-and-white bouclé bench with a long, slightly oval seat resting on two wide, softly rounded ends. The ends are also upholstered, making the mottled texture of the fabric and the sculptural shapes the piece's most distinctive features.
The open space between the ends gives Westport a lighter appearance than a fully enclosed, upholstered bench. Place it at the foot of a bed, along a hallway wall, or freestanding so that its shape can be seen from multiple angles. The backless seat provides an extra place to sit, while the bouclé gives it a distinctly different character from a bench with a hard wooden surface.
Westport is sold individually and delivered fully assembled. Choose it if you want a seating bench where the upholstery and the shape of the base are equally important parts of the whole.

Place Westport where its shape can be seen
Westport is a backless bench with rounded, upholstered ends and an open space under the seat. It can be placed at the foot of the bed, in a hallway, or freestanding in the living room. It has no storage compartment. Leave a little space near walls and sharp corners so that the bouclé on the ends does not get rubbed.
Care for black and white bouclé
Vacuum the seat and ends carefully with a soft furniture nozzle so that the fabric loops are not pulled out. Blot spills with a clean cloth without rubbing or soaking the foam padding. Try any spot treatment on a hidden area first; avoid abrasive cleaning and large amounts of water.
Pre-assembled bench
Westport is delivered assembled. Place it on a level surface and check that it stands stably before use. Use appropriate floor protection if necessary. The bench is a seat and should not be used as a step stool.
