Alaska A by Mauro Ferretti has a narrow, elevated silhouette with a green, padded seat and a rounded back that gives shape to the tall bar stool. The slender legs and footrest contrast with the upholstered seat and make the model a distinct feature at the bar counter without the backrest being completely enclosed.

This includes two matching bar stools. The seat height is 78 cm and the total height 111 cm, making Alaska A a model for higher bar counters and bar tables. Before purchasing, it is important to compare the seat height with your own counter, as a bar stool at this height does not correspond to a regular dining chair.

Alaska is also available in a B version. A has the dimensions 52 × 46 × 111 cm per stool, while B has a different, wider shape and a slightly lower seat height. Alaska A or Alaska B?

This is the A model in green, with a 78 cm seat height and two chairs per set. Alaska B has a wider and deeper shape and a 77 cm seat height according to the manufacturer. Therefore, compare the exact model letter when complementing an existing bar set. Check that the seat height suits your bar counter and that the footrest has enough space.

Care for upholstered seats

Vacuum the seats and backs gently with a soft furniture nozzle, especially at seams and any folds. Dab up spills without rubbing or soaking through the padding. Do not use harsh cleaning agents and test a suitable stain treatment on a hidden area first.

Take care of the frame

Clean the legs and footrests with a soft cloth and wipe dry so that moisture does not remain. Place the chairs flat and protect sensitive floors with suitable furniture feet if necessary. Do not let the chairs hit the countertop or each other when sliding them into place.
