Pool heat pump with compressor from Mountfield.
This is a premium model equipped with the latest compressor technology from Toshiba.
The pool heat pump can heat up to 30 m2 of water volume depending on the power output.
A newly developed quality compressor from Toshiba and a titanium heat exchanger ensure a long lifespan.
This pool heat pump can also be used for saltwater pools.
An ABS cabinet has a longer lifespan than a steel cabinet.
LCD display.
A large illuminated LCD display is included - where you set the desired temperature and other settings.
Very quiet.
This pool heat pump is powered by a very quiet brushless fan and has a noise level of approximately 45 dB at 1 meter distance, depending on how hard the compressor is working.
Standing 10 meters away, the noise level is mostly lower than normal outdoor background noise on a quiet summer day - meaning you usually don't hear the heat pump at all.
Which power output pool heat pump should I choose?
Even though this heat pump can heat a pool of up to 30 m2, it's impossible to know if it's sufficient for your specific needs.
The power requirement depends, among other things, on whether you cover the pool at night, where in the country you live, what temperature you want in the pool, and in what cold weather conditions you want to achieve the desired water temperature.
If, for example, you want to be able to heat your pool in the spring and autumn, when the nights are cold, this model might be sufficient for a water volume of 20-30 m2.
Therefore, there is no single formula to calculate your exact power requirement in all situations.
Note that a heat pump with a higher output does not consume more energy than a smaller model pool heat pump to heat the same amount of water to the same temperature.
If you choose a more powerful model, the electricity consumption will not be higher - but the same - under the same conditions.
