Overall description of how a Thermoblock pool from Planet Pool is assembled:
- Excavation of a pit. Keep in mind that you need about 60 cm of space on all sides (calculated from the outer dimensions of the pool) to work unhindered.
- Casting of the bottom slab
- The pool is built with Thermoblocks layered with rebar on the concrete slab
- Built-in parts are mounted
- The Thermoblock frame is filled with concrete (concrete not included), can be filled mechanically, with a fall brake
- The protective mat is glued to the inside
- The snap-in strip is mounted, and the pool liner is hung in place
- Mounting of flanges on the built-in parts
- Piping and installation of the sand filter system
- Backfilling and filling the pool with water
Assembly instructions are included with all pool sets.
Note! Always read through the entire assembly instructions and safety guidelines before starting the assembly.
The Thermoblocks from Planet Pool are characterized by a special surface layer of P80 quality. Different pressures or impacts can cause visible dents in a softer block, and therefore a soft block often requires an extra plexiglass sheet. Thanks to the P80 compressive strength layers on the inside, a plexiglass sheet is not necessary in the Thermoblock pool. Special end elements make corner finishing easy.
A durable and hard-wearing liner is included in all pool packages.
Its thickness of 0.75 mm and a high standard in the production process guarantee good quality. The liner is installed using a snap-in strip. It is an elegant and convenient solution where the liner is hung directly on the inside of the pool wall. The aluminum snap-in strip is also included in all Thermoblock pool packages.
A protective mat is attached between the Thermoblocks and the pool liner.
This provides a pleasant feeling when walking on the bottom and also a softer feeling on the pool walls. The protective mat separates and thus protects the liner from the building blocks. Filter with a thickness of 500 g/m2, supplied with a width of 150 cm.
The heart of the pool is the circulation, and Thermoblock pools are equipped with a powerful sand filter system to ensure clean and clear water. The pool packages are equipped with the latest technology, and both the sand filter and pump have been upgraded to very efficient products. The sand filter now holds an even larger filling volume and can withstand higher pressure than before. The pump is more powerful and quieter.
We recommend that you complement the pool with lighting, a heat pump, and a pool cover. Lighting is easiest to install when the pool is being built and cast into the pool; a retrofit is more difficult and does not look as good. To fully enjoy your pool, you should invest in a pool heat pump. Planet Pool's pool heat pumps are very efficient and energy-saving without affecting the environment. To keep the pool safe even when not in use, a pool enclosure or pool cover should be used; this keeps uninvited guests away. Read more and choose the solution that best suits your pool.
An increasingly popular solution is end-wall stairs, which provide a wonderful opportunity to use the pool as a social area and are perfect for spending the afternoon by the water's edge and cooling your legs. If you want to use the pool as a training tool, it may be good to install a counter-current system, which provides the opportunity for swimming that gives a good workout. You have the dreams, we have the accessories to make them happen.
