Smart Lock is used on the inside of your patio door. Please note that you can only use UN-LOCK when connected to your phone. You cannot use the app to lock and unlock. The lock is future-proof, so you can always upgrade the lock with a software update if you want access from the outside (this update only works with iOS / Apple phones)
The lock is easily installed in 10 minutes and is suitable for both windows and doors with espagnolette locking, making it a versatile solution for your home.
As the lock uses Bluetooth, it is compatible with both iPhone and Android. The mechanism locks when the Bluetooth connection is lost and unlocks as soon as the connection is re-established. You can easily unlock the lock by restarting the app and re-establishing the Bluetooth connection to your Smart Lock.
If someone needs access to the door, you simply add the lock to the app and all you need is the correct code. If a burglar tries to connect to the lock with the wrong code, the mechanism will shut down with an increasing timer for new connection attempts, starting from 40 seconds up to several hours.
The lock has an operating time of about 2 years and is powered by 2 AA batteries. At low battery levels, the handle notifies you, and if the level becomes critical, it will not lock. The lock can withstand torque up to 100 Nm, which corresponds to the SS 3620 standard (class B) and is safety-tested.
The lock is mounted on the inside of the window or door, but with the help of the external handle, doors can be made wirelessly openable from both sides, and if your door is thicker, an extension spindle can be added.
