Care instructions:
New marble and terrazzo tops should always be treated a few times initially. The top should preferably be treated with "Protect Marble & Stone" from Leathermaster, or alternatively, apply a thin layer of paraffin oil/white oil. Let the oil sit on the surface for a while, then wipe off and polish. For daily cleaning and good protection, use a damp dishcloth and regular soapy water. The soap forms a film and provides some protection. Spread the soap over the entire surface and wipe off any excess. This can advantageously be repeated for the first 2-3 weeks and then as needed.
