Därför ska du välja Luftsolfångare från Solkungen

That's why you should choose Solar Air Collectors from Solkungen!

Solkungen Air Solar Collector Full Black Slim Edition Outdoor

No other air solar collector on the market has anywhere near the same high efficiency as Full Black, especially not at cold outdoor temperatures. Additionally, it also provides heat even in moderately cloudy weather. The absorber is a so-called super-selective absorber, which is much, much more efficient than a blackened plate. (A "regular" black plate radiates as much as it absorbs, making it a poor absorber in an air solar collector. For the same reason, many people in hot desert environments wear black - the heat radiates from the black surface.) The super-absorber, on the other hand, "locks in" the radiation and efficiently converts it into incoming hot air.

Advantages of Solkungen Air Solar Collector Full Black Slim Edition

  • Extremely efficient absorber (compared to a black-painted plate)
  • Full Black pays for itself faster than the best heat pump
  • More than four times more efficient compared to solar cells
  • Very low weight, easy to handle - simple DIY installation
  • Annual output >1000 kWh, in the video, 100 x 75 x 3 cm., 5 kg
  • Integrated thermostat controls start/stop
  • Works excellent even at colder than -20 degrees Celsius (!)
  • Adjustable noise level/airflow
  • Can be powered by solar cell if electricity is unavailable

The efficiency of Full black, slim edition, is even slightly higher (!) than that of Solfläkten 2.0, but the dimensions are the same; 75 x 100 cm, and 100 x 150 cm for the larger one. The weight is lower, 5 kg and 9 kg respectively. The annual output is just over 1000 kWh for the smaller one and just over 2000 kWh for the larger one. It thus pays for itself in just a couple of, three years (!) The payback period for, e.g., air heat pumps is much longer, and solar cells realistically have at least a 15-year payback period.

Delivered fully assembled

Full black, slim edition is delivered with pre-assembled weather and corrosion-resistant wall mounts and a built-in thermostat for 25 degrees. It only starts when it blows in 25 degrees or warmer air. An adjustable power adapter for desired fan speed and 1 meter of air duct are also included. Full black, slim edition can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

Specifications

It can also be powered by a 20 W solar cell if there is no electricity, but it is best to power it with a power adapter. The annual cost with adapter operation will be around 10 SEK.

The solar fan is thus powered either by an adapter and a fixed thermostat - or a 20 W (adapted) solar cell, not both.

There are some variants of so-called air solar collectors on the market, but the Swedish-made Full Black, slim edition, differs by, among other things, using indoor air. This naturally provides more efficient heating compared to heating outdoor air, and the risk of blowing in spores and pollen that start to grow in indoor crevices is eliminated. Similarly, overpressure, by blowing in outdoor air, risks causing moisture damage. (All premises therefore have so-called balanced ventilation, neither over- nor underpressure.)

Likewise, the Solfläkten has small-diameter plastic air ducts - having metal air ducts, moreover with a large diameter, causes cold draft.

The efficiency of an air solar collector is calculated by the difference in temperature between the outgoing/incoming air, multiplied by the airflow. Even if the outgoing air in an air solar collector may feel warm - the effect ("value" of the heat) can still be negligible - this is because the airflow is very low.

The theoretically highest power a 1 sqm air solar collector can have is the temperature difference x 1.2 (constant) x airflow in liters/second. If an air solar collector is stated to blow a certain number of liters/second, say 100 cubic meters/hour = 28 liters/second, then the theoretically highest temperature increase/sqm it can provide is 30 degrees: 30 x 1.2 x 28 = approx. 1000 W (At 100% efficiency - which no solar energy product has. Maximum solar radiation/sqm is approx. 1000 W.)

The power of an air solar collector depends on the airflow. Stating the airflow for an air solar collector by stating the fan's capacity is directly misleading. The capacity of an axial fan, what is on the fan label, is its "free blow" - i.e., when the fan neither needs to suck nor push. If an axial fan, for example, is used to suck air through an air solar collector, the airflow drops dramatically. If the fan's "free blow" is 100 cubic meters/h, the actual airflow may be 15 cubic meters/h.

Thus, an air solar collector – if the outdoor temperature is lower than the indoor temperature – can never provide even close to a 30-degree temperature increase per square meter of air solar collector, if the stated airflow is, for example, 100 cubic meters/hour, which products on the market similar to Solfläkten claim. Likewise, products similar to Solfläkten are claimed to heat a certain area/volume – this depends entirely on how the premises are insulated and what is meant by "heating". Is half a degree of heating "heating"? Annual yield in kWh, however, is relevant information. How the product works in sub-zero temperatures, moderate cloudiness, is absolutely crucial for the annual yield.

    Hej.
