Measurement information for Swedoor exterior doors

Standardized interior door measurements since 1972
In Sweden, we have had standardized measurements for interior doors and frames since 1972. If your existing door was manufactured after this year and is equipped with so-called "snap-in hinges", the new doors usually fit into the old frames as well.
Check the following measurements
- The old door should be 40 mm thick
- It should be 1940 or 2040 mm high
- The center-to-center measurement between the two hinges should be 1540 mm
The most common module measurements for interior doors are 7x21, 8x21, and 9x21. The table below shows the exact measurements. Note that the module measurements are different if you choose double doors where the door leaves are of equal size.

- Almost all Advance-line interior doors, except Compact and Charisma, can be ordered from module 6x18 to 11x24 and as sliding doors from module 6x18 to 13x24.
- Charisma: module width 6-10 and module height 18-21
- Stable Nature and Stable Effect are not manufactured in the smallest width (module 6x18).
- Compact and Style in 190 height (M19) are cut at the top and bottom. This means that the frame at the top and bottom is narrower than for other heights (modules).
- The frame height is increased by 14 mm if a frame with an underlying flat threshold is chosen.
