Effect:

The product is used to raise the pH level in hot tub or pool water. Bathing water should have a pH value between 7.0 – 7.4. Within this range, the most effective action of pool & spa chlorine is guaranteed without side effects.

Instructions for use and dosage:

Check the pH value at least twice a week and immediately adjust deviations from the ideal value (control is primarily needed before dosing pool & spa chlorine). A pH value >7.4 can cause discoloration of the water, which can become milky and cloudy, reduce the effectiveness of pool or spa chlorine, cause chlorine odor, or irritate eyes or skin. A pH value <7.0 can lead to increased corrosion of the hot tub's or pool's metal parts, fading of colored material, and irritation of eyes or skin. To raise the pH value by 0.2, add 10g per 1 m3 (1,000 l) of water (for soft water, a higher dose is usually needed). Dissolve the calculated dosage thoroughly in a plastic bucket with water and slowly pour it into the hot tub or pool water with the filtration turned on. Measurement of the pH value (using appropriate testing equipment) should be done after thorough mixing in the hot tub or pool water. Repeat the procedure until the pH value is within the desired range. Until all powder has been thoroughly mixed in your pool or hot tub (with the help of filtration) and the pH value has been adjusted to the desired range, no one should enter the hot tub or pool!

100 g corresponds to approximately 150 ml.

Appearance and composition:

Finely ground powder in white color. Contains sodium carbonate (100%), index number: 011-005-00-2.

Warning:

Causes serious eye irritation. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

First aid:

If inhaled: Move the injured person to fresh air and keep them there until symptoms completely disappear.
If skin contact: Rinse immediately with water and wash with soap for at least 15 minutes. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention immediately.
If eye contact: Rinse immediately with open eyelids under running water for at least 15 minutes. Always seek medical attention.
If swallowed: Give the injured person 1 – 2 glasses of water to drink. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Seek medical attention immediately.

Storage:

Store in a tightly closed original packaging in a cool and dry place, away from food, drink, and animal feed. Protect from moisture.

Warning:

Do not mix with other products! The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect use.

Warranty period:

2 years from the date of manufacture and upon fulfillment of storage conditions.

Disposal:

Do not pour the product into the sewage system. Hand over unused product to a recycling center that handles hazardous waste. Rinse empty packaging thoroughly with water. HAND IN CLEAN PACKAGING TO THE INTENDED PLACE FOR WASTE MANAGEMENT!
