This fire lantern provides a beautifully swirling flame for a magical feel.
SPIN fire lantern 90 gold is a delightful fire lantern that is lit with bioethanol and produces a unique rotating flame.
The impressive flame is created by air currents being drawn up from below (the so-called chimney effect) in combination with the stainless steel container's "curved grooves" that cause the oxygen to rotate.
This in turn leads to a beautifully swirling flame.
Once you have lit the lantern, you can enjoy the fire for up to 1 hour without refilling.
However, remember not to refill with bioethanol immediately after the flame has gone out, as there is a risk of spontaneous combustion. Instead, wait until the refill can has cooled down or switch to another can.
If you want to extinguish the fire before then, you can do so with the help of the included extinguishing lid, which quickly smothers the flame.
The fire lantern can be placed in the garden, on the balcony, terrace or even indoors in well-ventilated areas* (the latter does not apply when the lantern is combined with any of the SPIN accessories*).
As accessories, it is possible to purchase an extension piece (for extra height) and a ground rod to transform the lantern into a garden torch (see SPIN ground rod grey and SPIN ground rod oak).

How to light the SPIN fire lantern:
Time needed: 2 minutes.

Insert the bioethanol can into the container
Place one of the SPIN refill cans (we recommend having two) inside the base container.

Fill with bioethanol about four-fifths
Fill the refill can with bioethanol, not completely to the top but about four-fifths. NOTE: Make sure the bioethanol has at least 80% alcohol so that it burns well).

Light the bioethanol with a lighter
Use, for example, an electric lighter to ignite the bioethanol.

Place the glass cylinder
Place the glass cylinder on top in its place.
- Now you have a beautifully rotating flame!
NOTE: Remember that it is always good to have a fire blanket or extinguisher close at hand when you have a live fire going.
How to extinguish the SPIN fire lantern:
- Place the included extinguishing lid on top of the glass cylinder
- The flame is now extinguished!
NOTE: If you want to light the fire again immediately, do not refill the already heated can with bioethanol as there is a risk of spontaneous combustion. Instead, use the unused refill can.
