Darwin in natural from House Nordic is a long dining table with an oak-veneered top and legs in a natural wood finish. The light surface allows the wood grain to show through across a large, continuous tabletop, while the elongated shape creates a distinct space for the dining area. This is the larger Darwin model, intended for a dining area with plenty of space even when the table is not extended.
With two included extension leaves, you can extend the table first to 290 cm and then to 340 cm. This means you can keep the long base configuration for everyday use and gain extra space for serving and guests without needing a separate table. Compared to the smaller Darwin in natural in the series, both the shortest and the longest table tops are larger.

Space for a long Darwin table
This natural-coloured Darwin model is long even in its basic configuration and can be extended in two stages. Plan for chairs and passage when the table is 340 cm, even though it is usually used at a shorter length. Choose the smaller Darwin model if you need a more compact basic size.
Care for oak veneer
Wipe up spills immediately. Clean with a soft, well wrung-out cloth and dry again, especially at the joints and edges of the panels. Protect the veneer with mats for hot, wet or scratching objects and avoid abrasive tools, harsh cleaning products and standing moisture. Do not treat the veneered surface like untreated solid wood.
Extension panels and assembly
Store the two loose panels in a dry, level and protected place between uses. Handle the panels, edges and fittings carefully when extending the table. Darwin weighs 86.9 kg net and is delivered unassembled, so plan for help with bringing it inside and assembling it.
