Filter Media and Usage

Filter media is not included and needs to be purchased separately. For this model, 17 kg of quartz sand or 15 kg of filter glass is used. Always ensure that the correct filter media and quantity are used before starting the system.

Capacity and Operating Time

A practical rule of thumb is that the pool water should circulate approximately twice a day during about eight hours of operation. Calculate the requirement by taking the pool volume in m³ × 2 / 8 hours.

Example:
A 20 m³ pool needs approximately 5 m³/h of filter capacity for the water to circulate twice within eight hours.

Maintenance and Advice

Backwash and clean the filter according to the recommendations for filter media and the pool's load. Also, regularly check hoses, connections, and water flow for consistent and efficient filtration.
