Osaka by House Nordic features a round top in light oak veneer and a conical central pedestal base composed of closely spaced, vertical slats. The soft wood grain of the top contrasts with the pronounced texture of the base, giving the table a sculptural appearance even when it is not set.

The generous round top is ideal for a dining area where everyone sits around the same tabletop and where there is also room for serving dishes in the centre. The central pedestal base consolidates the understructure in the middle, rather than placing four legs at the edge of the top. The oak veneer and MDF provide a wood-like appearance without the top being made of solid oak.

This is Osaka in a natural finish with a fixed top. It cannot be extended with extension tops. House Nordic also offers smaller, extendable, and darker Osaka models sold separately. A dining table without chairs is included, and the table is delivered unassembled.

Choose the right Osaka

This Ø140 model has a fixed round top and lacks an extension function. Osaka is also available in smaller and extendable versions, which are sold separately. Check that there is enough space to pull out chairs and move around the table.

Care for the oak veneer

Wipe up spills quickly with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately afterwards, especially around the edge of the top. Use coasters under hot, wet or colouring items and avoid abrasive cleaners. Veneer should not be treated like untreated solid oak.

Assembly and handling

The table is delivered unassembled and weighs 44 kg net. Protect the tabletop with a clean, soft surface during assembly and get help with lifting. Follow the assembly instructions for Osaka and check that the top and central base are properly joined and stand securely before use. The manufacturer specifies a maximum load of 40 kg.

Returns and right of withdrawal

Upon delivery
