Osaka in natural oak veneer is a dining table that changes shape when more people gather around it. The top is round to begin with, but the extension leaves make it oblong. Beneath the light wood surface is an unusual base with two ribbed supports in different shapes – one softly rounded and one more angular – which gives even the extended table its own character.
Two extension leaves are included. With one leaf, the table is 160 cm long and with both, 200 cm, while the round base format has a diameter of 120 cm. You can therefore adapt the table setting to the company without having the largest tabletop out every day. The material is oak veneer and MDF, not solid oak.
This is Osaka with two extension leaves. In the same series there is a longer extendable model with three leaves and fixed round tables without extension – they are sold separately. This includes the dining table and two extension leaves, but no chairs. Allow space both for chairs when the table is fully extended and for storing the leaves when they are not in use. The table is delivered disassembled.

Choose the right location and length
Osaka has a round top in its basic configuration and can be extended with the two included extension tops. Leave space for the table's longest configuration and for chairs to be pulled out. This model should not be confused with the larger Osaka model with three extension tops.
Care for oak veneer
Wipe up spills immediately with a soft, well-wrung cloth and dry again. Pay particular attention to the edges and joints between the table tops. Avoid standing water, harsh cleaning agents and abrasive materials. Use coasters under hot, wet or scratching objects. The surface should not be treated as untreated solid wood.
Extension tops and assembly
Handle the surfaces, edges and fittings of the tops carefully when extending the table. Store loose extension tops in a dry and protected place when not in use. The table is delivered disassembled and weighs 57.65 kg net; plan to have help with bringing it in and assembling it. Assemble on a soft surface according to the House Nordics original instructions for item 2203000.
