Osaka from House Nordic is a long dining table in natural oak veneer where the tabletop and the distinctive base form a cohesive wood tone. The tabletop's softly rounded corners meet a sturdy, centrally placed leg construction that gives the table character even when it is not set. The visible grain of the oak veneer gives the surface a wood feel without the tabletop being made of solid oak.
The rectangular tabletop is 200 cm long in its basic configuration. With one of the two included extension leaves, the table becomes 250 cm long, and with both, you get 300 cm for larger dinners. Extension and storage
This Osaka model comes with two extension panels and three table lengths: 200, 250 and 300 cm. Follow the assembly instructions when inserting or removing the panels and protect the edges and fittings from impacts. Store the panels in a dry, level and protected place when not in use. Check that the table parts are correctly in place before setting the table.
Care for oak veneer
Wipe up spills immediately with a soft, well-wrung cloth and dry again, including around the joints between the panels. Avoid abrasive tools, standing water and harsh cleaning agents. Use coasters for hot and scratching objects and do not treat the surface like untreated solid wood.
Assembly and placement
The table is delivered disassembled and weighs 69.24 kg net. Plan the carrying in and lifting with the help of several people. Protect the veneer during assembly and check that the table is stable. Leave space for chairs and passage even when the panel is extended to 300 cm.
