The larger black Osaka dining table from House Nordic combines a round top in black oak veneer with a conical central base made up of dense, vertical ribs. In the dark finish, the ribs create shadows along the base, while the wood grain brings the wide top to life. The result is a clear, cohesive design language without conventional legs at the outer edge of the table.
The round top provides a shared surface for setting the table and serving, with the option to place chairs around it from any side. Compared to the Osaka Ø120, this model has a larger tabletop, but also requires more space for pulled-out chairs and passage. The central base remains a visible part of the dining area even when the table is not in use.
This is Osaka in black, with a fixed Ø140 top. The top cannot be extended, and no extension tops are included. Choose a separate extendable Osaka if the table length needs to be adjustable. The materials are oak veneer and MDF, not solid oak. The table is supplied without chairs and is delivered unassembled.

Choose the right size
The black Osaka Ø140 has a fixed top and provides more table surface than the same model in Ø120. It is not an extendable table; other Osaka items have insert tops. Leave space for chairs and passage around the entire top and choose the size according to the dining area.
Black oak veneer and ribbed base
Wipe up spills immediately and use a soft, well-wrung cloth for everyday cleaning. Wipe dry afterwards, especially around the edge of the top. Dust between the ribs of the conical base with a soft brush. Avoid abrasive cleaners, standing water and treatments for untreated solid wood. Use coasters for hot or scratching objects.
Assembly
The table is delivered disassembled and weighs 44 kg net. Protect the veneer of the top during assembly, get help with lifting and follow the assembly instructions for item 2203007. Check that the top and base are securely attached before placing any load on the table.
