The Osaka in smoked oak from House Nordic features a round top where the darker wood tone highlights the grain of the oak veneer. Beneath the top stands the conical central base with dense, vertical ribs, also in a smoked oak tone. When light falls across the ribs, shadows are formed that give the table a distinct texture despite its uniform colour.
The round shape allows chairs to be placed around the entire top and gives the table a central focal point for setting and serving. The ribbed base gathers the understructure centrally instead of having a leg at each corner of the table. The top is made of oak veneer and MDF and should not be described as solid oak.
Choose the fixed model in smoked oak if you want more depth in the wood colour than the natural version, while still allowing the grain to show through. The same smaller round Osaka is also available in natural and black. Larger and extendable models are separate products; no extension tops or chairs are included here. The table is delivered unassembled.

Preserve the smoked oak surface
Wipe up spills immediately and clean the top with a soft, well-wrung cloth. Wipe dry again, especially around the edges. Use coasters under hot, wet or abrasive objects. Avoid scouring pads and cleaning products that may affect the smoked finish.
Ribbed central pedestal
Dust carefully along the ribs with a soft cloth or brush to prevent dirt from getting trapped between them. Do not allow moisture to remain on veneered surfaces. The table has a fixed top and no extension leaves are included; choose a special Osaka extension if the table size needs to be changed.
Assembly
The table is delivered unassembled. Follow the assembly instructions for item 2203011 and protect the smoked top during handling. Check that the top is securely attached to the central pedestal and that the table is stable before use.
