The black Osaka dining table from House Nordic features a round top and ribbed base that create a distinct silhouette. The closely spaced vertical ribs add texture to the two wide supports, while the top’s oak veneer brings a visible wood grain to the dark finish. When extended, the table retains its cohesive black colour, but its shape changes from round to rectangular.
With three included extension leaves, the top can be extended from Ø120 cm to lengths of 160, 200 and 240 cm. You can choose a smaller round format when fewer people are dining and create a long, continuous surface when more people eat together. Compared to the Osaka with two extension leaves, this model offers an additional length setting without the need to replace the table.
This model is made from black oak veneer and MDF – not solid oak. The purchase includes one dining table and three extension leaves; chairs are not included. The table is delivered unassembled. Allow sufficient space around the table for extended chairs even at its longest setting, and a safe place to store the extension leaves.

How to choose the right Osaka
This black model comes with three extension leaves and can be extended to 240 cm. If you do not need the longest tabletop, there is a separate Osaka model with two extension leaves. Measure the dining area, taking into account both chairs and clearance when the table is used in its longest configuration.
Black veneer surface and ribbed base
Wipe up spills immediately with a soft, well-wrung cloth and dry again without leaving moisture at the joints. Use coasters for very hot, wet or abrasive objects. Avoid abrasive cleaning and harsh chemicals that may affect the black finish. Dust the ribs carefully with a soft brush or cloth; do not oil the veneer as if it were untreated solid wood.
Extension, storage and assembly
Handle the extension leaves carefully so that the edges and surfaces do not knock against each other. Store the loose leaves in a dry and protected place when not in use. The table weighs 65.56 kg net and is delivered unassembled. Plan to bring it inside with assistance, protect the leaves during assembly and check that the base and tabletop are securely attached before using the table.
